James Oswald
Director of Planning
James graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point majoring in Management. After graduation, James served just over 5 years on active duty as a U.S. Army Engineer Officer while stationed in Fort Stewart, GA, Afghanistan, and the United States Army Corps of Engineers Savannah District in Emergency Management.
James’ financial career began in 2020 where he started as a risk management professional and eventually transitioned into financial planning as an investment advisor in Wichita, KS. He holds a Life and Health Insurance License, has his Series 65 license, and is in the process of attaining his Certified Financial Planner designation.
In 2022, James and his family moved to Orlando, where he worked with a local consulting firm as a paraplanner assisting business owners and successful families alike. He is passionate about helping client families with their financial decisions, providing unique solutions to their discreet situations.
In his free time, James spends time with his wife, Janet, and their son, Daniel “DQ” Quentin. He enjoys playing sports and board games with friends and family.
